Feedback gevenWe ate here for lunch and breakfast. It was very convenient for breakfast as it was the only place we could find downtown that served breakfast before 9 AM. The food was quite good and my wife (celiac) did not have any problems. Even the plain arepa was no problem for her. I’m giving it four stars as it doesn’t have a lot of gluten-free options. However, gluten-free items are marked on the menu.
We had arepas here and they were pretty tasty. Kind of greasy compared to others I’ve had elsewhere, but good. The staff inside when you’re eating there is very nice. If you happen to be sitting outside for the taco place next door and touch a napkin on one of their tables? They run out the door and yell at you about the napkins being for customers only. There was not a single customer sitting outside, but if you came near their tables, they ran you off. That behavior made us not go back.
I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich in I’m not sure how long.....until eating at Toast. It was AMAZING! They have all varieties of arepas, including a breakfast one. I had one with ham and another with sausage, no problems afterwards. Except that I can’t stop thinking about more!
Several gf and veg menu items. The Arepas are amazing! Open only until 2 pm everyday but I will definitely be returning!
