Hostel Elf Prague - Chrudim

Ive stayed in 10 different hostels in the last 4 years, this was, by far, the worst. Dirty, old, very noisy and unpleasent. i stayed 3 days there trying to sleep between 23 to 7, well, every night got awake 3/4 times because of people partying and entering/leaving the room between 2/6 AM. Location wasnt terrible, but you need to walk around 20 min from city centre which isnt ideal either. From my opinion you will only enjoy this hostel if you come with 2 or more friends, expecting to drink alcohol most part of the day and partying every night, but if you want to do a different kind of tourism, this is not your place.

Johnny was by far the most accommodating kind person I've ever met in a hostel. He was very interactive and very kind and very helpful. He seriously makes the hostel 10/10. He also cooked a vegan curry which I didn't expect as I'm vegan. He accommodated this knowing that there were vegans in hostel and made this instead of Mac and cheese, The gesture and kindness was there 100%. I said it! free food! The hostel was really lovely and easy to engage and make friends with people I had a really great time. I felt right at home! Thanks again Johnny!

Very nice place and staff! Would recommend it. Access could be better (steep narrow stairs, no dedicated parking). If you are coming by car I would recommend you first trying to park in the white zone in front of the place during weekend it's free almost all the time (Saturday 8:00 12:00 it costs 1.6 EUR hour).

Really friendly, helpful, fun people at the reception and a beautiful feeling for the hostel. a little further from the center, but close to tram/bus stops. would definitely recommend!
