California Pizza Kitchen At Otay Ranch Town Center

Fernando and his mustache were amazing. He was very nice, did a great job to explain the menu, and was great with the kids. I'd just come back for him. The food was great, they gave the children a birthday dessert, and everyone has a good time. 10/10!

I have previously left an amazing rating for this CPK location. However, my experience today was the opposite. My daughter and I were there for dinner. We sat after about 20 minutes and said a server was with us. The restaurant was not too busy at the time. A total of 15 minutes before we were acknowledged by a server. Another family sat next to us, and within a minute was approached by a server to get their drinks assistants. I'm not sure why this kind of service was shown today, but I can't understand why we were sitting waiting for 15 minutes while another party was almost immediately addressed.

Surprisingly, not busy, but grateful. Had a family of 8 and we could all order something we wanted. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. No complaints about food in taste or serving size. Definitely a popular place for the family to eat

We wanted to sit on our request in a quiet part of the restaurant. Probably a bad idea because the table service was usually not present the majority of our meal. When we wanted to pay for our food, we noticed that we were wrongly charged. Instead of charging half salads, we were calculated for whole. We ordered half. We wondered why they seemed bigger than normal. When we left a manager, he asked how our meal was. I said the food was great, but the service could have been better and that they got our order wrong. She immediately asked to see our bill. I thought she would adapt to reflect what we have ordered, but no, she went beyond and beyond and refunded the full price of both salads. I didn't expect that. So 4 stars, for good food, and good customer service resolution. Updated to add: In several later visits (including the last two consecutive visits), several pizzas, which had to be adapted to allergies, were made so wrong and had to be made new, so that people with allergies wait for their food to eat after the rest of their party, or have to go. Disappoint.

The restaurant had a nice, warm ambience. They had indoor/outdoor seating available, but we chose to dine indoors since it was a bit chilly. The food was great: we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, wild mushroom pizza and our little one had the pepperoni pizza. Definitely a nice sit-down environment if you?re looking to satisfy your pizza cravings. We didn?t feel rushed or hurried while we were there, which is always a plus.
