Catfish was the best. However they touch the prepared food with dirty gloves.

Fast service , very tasty and fresh and hot,will visit again A , was kind hard to find location, but worth the travel distance.

5 stars. Fist time visit and won't be the last. This place is inside a convenience/liquor store, so no seating and not the best ambiance, but you're here to get some great tasting fried fish and tasty sides so what more do you really need. When I was there there was already a line for lunch on a weekend, which tells me that this place is where the locals goes (I live over an hour away, was in the neighborhood for shopping). People in line were friendly, a lady said she always gets extra chipotle sauce and chooses coleslaw over macaroni. Another lady said she always gets the cod. I got the rock fish, came with hot and crispy fries, and I got an order of fried okra cuz how can you not. When my order was ready, I got the coleslaw (really glad I did, would order that again by itself) and some extra chipotle sauce as recommended which was great with everything. The guy cooking sprinkled and tossed everything with a light dusting of something that I think was like superfine lemon salt mixture (what it tasted like me) and it was delicious over it all. While I was waiting, I saw several orders of wings being prepped, they do them the right way straight from the fryer to a bowl and a good toss of sauce amd everything then directly in a box good and fresh so next time I'm here I'll try the buffalo wings as well. Great place for your fish and chips cravings. Pic is of okra, already dug into the rockfish before I thought about taking a picture lol.
