Decor fairly tired and not appealing.Service was great, food and drinks came fairly quickly.Pork San choy bau was fantastic. Pork spare ribs were quite good. Special fried rice was fairly dry which was disappointing..Would I go back?? Probably..I would like to try something different next time.
I love Cantonese cuisine and I have been to Yummy restaurant on a few occasions. The seafood we had were excellent and delicious. The services were good. In fact in comparison with other top Chinese restaurants in the city, I rank Yummy restaurant at the top of the sea food chains. The Lobsters and noodles cooked in XO sauce, the Sea Perch steam in light soya sauce, the stirred fried Beef accompanied with Wasabi sauce and the Pepe cooked with Singapore chilli sauce were among the best on Yummy's menu. The prices are reasonable. If you happen to be in the out skirts of western Sydney and if you like Cantonese food then Yummy is the restaurant I would recommend.
Often go here with friends for a quick feed. Crab is yummy, portions are good size, deep fried ice cream is so good. Service could be better but food wise it is pleasing! Good for a local Chinese feed...
At first glance, Yummy's $838 Seafood Banquet Menu presents great value. When we went to pay the bill miraculously became $1043 (what they did was instead of applying the $838 price as stated on the set menu, they have individually priced every item). When politely asked about why they forgot to apply the set menu price, they told us that this option was not available and flat out refused to let us go until we paid $1043. Absolutely abysmal customer experience. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Oh and I forgot to mention the food was distinctly average.
