On arrival there were many bible quotes on painted signs along the very long roadway. We ate in the big room. We were greeted by the owner (who spoke to the restaurator). He showed us a video of his sweet dog (which we met on the way to play with a cow on a large screen TV in the restorer. You think this is strange, stop....Nextly he said he had a request to sing and play the guitar (I don't see that someone asks him, but whatever... . He played and sang a song whe wrote about the quiet corner and 2 church hymns. There's a first time for everything! The menu was small. I can really list everything here. Ham salad, tuna salad, chicken salad or quiche of the day or soup of the day and 10 different cakes. A humble selection of teas. I had the Chai tea that it was brilliant. Soup was cold and salty, but the bread was delicious and homemade. Service was very slow, so don't come when you're in a hurry! On leaving there was a stand from a local organic farm selling products and beautiful flowers. We bought a ton of stuff! Everyone should be here. It is very interesting and once in a life experience. I will be back, I will bring my friends!
This is a very nice, relaxing out-of-the-way tea house in a pretty forest setting.
Quaint tea room with personable owners.
