I was expecting to be more of a steak house/pub, but, the place was more restaurant that served real ales.It was a little on the small side and if you didn't reserve a table or was in at opening time, then forget a table. Not helpful if you are travelling and are only in town for one night. The service was not fast nor friendly. Not overly impressed.
Bit of a gem situated in a mainly residential area. The Romans had definitely not left their mark here. This is a local pub that looks great inside, with a good atmosphere, friendly staff and low key background music. The food is what you would expect in a pub, simple but tasty. Burgers were very good but hot dogs could have done with a little moist filling i.e. onions, tomatoes or lettuce. The highlight in the King Arthur is the huge range of craft beers identified in their own menue. We finally went with the weakest pilsner which was still 4.1%proof. Super flavour but be aware some of the beers are very potent, up to 8%proof so take it easy. This is the sort of place that would be my local if I lived in Ciampino.. Well done the staff [who all seem to speak english] we had a great few hours there between 9.00pm and 11.00pm on a saturday night
The hotel I am staying recommended this place. Went for lunch.. the place is unpretentious.. being in the residential area, does not show much from the outside. Customers were mostly local which is a good sign. Ordered Frito Misto which was divine paired with house white wine which was the size of 2 glasses...for dessert, I couldn't resist the deliciously looking Tiramisu and indeed.. it was good as it look, better. Very well priced. Definitely would visit again if in the area.
I found this on tripadvisor and we wanted to try. A minus is that the menu is only on italian and the staff wasn't very good in english. But we got us some burgers and it was one of the best burger i've eaten
I have a red beer and a light eucalyptus beer. Also the girl who served us was nice and recommended beers according to our geese.
