Boca - Cincinnati

This restaurant is amazing! We were able to make same-day reservations on a Friday by calling the restaurant directly. The Beef Wellington and Lobster roll were delicious! I highly recommend this fine dining experience. The service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch. I would recommend trying the Beef Wellington and the Black Truffle Bordelaise. The price per person is $100+.

My experience at Boca, with its relatively new tasting menu, left me with mixed feelings. The ambiance and service were excellent, as always. However, the transition to tasting plates and the subsequent price increase didn't quite meet my expectations. While the dishes were of high quality, the smaller portion sizes and higher cost didn't align with what I had hoped for. Boca is still a upscale choice, but the recent changes since 2020 may not appeal to everyone, including myself. I had hoped things would go back to normal with time, but after my recent experience, I felt it was time to share my perspective. Parking: Difficult to find parking with options for paid parking lot, free street parking, paid street parking, and valet.

I really miss L and Table. The service was excellent, but the food was just average and not worth the high price. I haven't been back since the pandemic and was looking forward to returning, but was quite disappointed. I won't be going back. Overall, the atmosphere was nice. I had dinner and spent over $100 per person. I recommend trying the Boca Oysters Rockefeller Style.
