I'm sad that it took me so long to try it out. the crowd and the music are much more diverse than they would guess from outside. bartenders are friendly, they have open microphone evenings and live music, the patrons are welcoming, and they have a large terrace. I couldn't ask anymore, especially in walking distance.
We had a meeting. many native. friendly, more lively place.
Had trage fish sandwiches that were great. the first time there in years. fish was excellent and while I was waiting enjoyed a beer at the bar and chatted with a few regular. very friendly all the way. will soon reappear, perhaps on the covered terrace.
Under new management. still a great place to relax. new terrace furniture, including outdoor TV. love music Friday Saturday, plus Tuesday open microphone. great prices.
I live down the street from the crows nest and being from a family of of Irish immigrants I was initially curious of the shamrocks and walking in the door seeing a massive Irish flag on the ceiling. After doing some digging it turns out this location is actually the site of the oldest Irish pub in the Cincinnati Area.As many others have stated it is under new management but I have personally met with both the owner and his brother and they are great pepeople.Music is consistently good and it is a very laid back crowd. The recent Lent fish fry were good as well and I'm a proud owner of the of their shirts (designed by the brother) and one of their limited St. Patricks day 2022 shirts. They have absolutely earned a repeat patron with their customer service and stellar atmosphere.
