I decided to order takeout - 2 bourbon chicken dinners with fried rice and dumplings, totaling $53. However, when I got home, the smell of the bourbon chicken indicated it was spoiled. The potstickers were also tough, likely freezer burned as they had to search through multiple freezers before finding my order. I went back to the restaurant to request a refund, but had to argue with the daughter who was unapologetic and snatched my receipt away. Needless to say, I will not be returning and it comes as no surprise that they are closing down.
I have been a patron of this restaurant since I was a young child and have never had any issues until today. I ordered cashew chicken for my friend, but when we arrived at their place, there was no chicken in the dish. When I called to address the issue, they immediately became defensive and accused me of eating all the chicken. Despite their claims that they prepared it correctly and consistently, they refused to rectify the mistake or apologize. As a result of their treatment, they have lost a loyal customer.
I normally don't like to leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to do so in this case. I have eaten at many different Chinese restaurants, and I have to say that this place served the worst chicken fried rice I have ever had in my life. I am a big fan of Chinese food and have never complained before, but I felt it was disrespectful to charge money for what I received. I have had 3-day-old Chinese leftovers that I reheated in the microwave that tasted better than this. Instead of focusing on selling handbags and jewelry, the restaurant should focus on improving their food quality. If they do so, the money will surely come in.
I've never had a problem with my food orders, just wish it was a little easier on the wallet. Great service though
I will not patronize this place ever again! I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo yong and it was burnt. Usually you get 3 separate shrimp patties however I received one and the other two were flat pieces of eggs. I also ordered shrimp fried rice it consisted of a bowl of brown rice with shrimp. No egg and no vegetables. I've been eating Chinese food my entire life and I never had to ask for vegetables to placed in my shirmpd fried rice.I brought the food back fried rice I did not touch. I only ate half of one shrimp egg fooy ong pattie. The ladies who owns the restaurant would not give me my money back. I had to get a store credit and she took the fried rice reheated it and added vegetables. DON'T EAT HERE!
