The food is also great. Not imagination, but comfort and some Indian selection. Reduced senior menu. Where else can you get a meal and a piece of cake for under $12?
I've eaten here several times, today was just a little disappointing. Had a friend here to show him how good the ambience and the meals were, and he was quite disappointed. It seemed like the man who runs the place was responsible and somehow an oversized tyrant. Maybe twice before the return.
I love this place! It smells like you don't believe it! Love the service! The service is quickly sweet! The atmosphere is beautiful and secret and the food is fantastic! Large portions, savory with exactly the right amount of love attached to any meal. I love Rosie.
My experience in the café varies from state to state in my travels. A rare opportunity for me to have work available a bit locally at home (the larger Sacramento area) caught my eye looking for a breakfast meal in Rosie's Country Kitchen. What a treat. Breakfast menu item prices are better than most breakfast places of $9.99 and above, under $20. I had the cheapest and filling combo (Burger and 3 Egg Combo, comes with Hash Browns or Country Potatoes Toast) that I can ever find in the area. I really appreciate that. The service: I was (as well as other customers) as friendly as our waiting staff came around all tables to refill drinks so often (more than most restorations) and the food presentation and delivery are big and fast. It looked good and easy and came out within minutes. Everyone can appreciate that. The ambience is very cozy, with an eclectic collection of decorations that range from tea coffee utensils, cups, cakes and bowls. Rosei's also has an Indian menu that starts at 3 p.m. daily. (If I have the opportunity, it will try). I'll give Rosie's Country Kitchen a 5 star rating... to everything. Especially in mind, my brothers and sisters in the military and like me and those who have served with a veteran status. You HONOR military and veterans with a discount. Bravo... no wonder why I see such other positive reviews for this place.
Rosie's is everything you would expect of a typical diner. Reasonably priced food and wonderful service. I must say, my glass was never empty. Everyone at the diner made sure of that! I had the club sandwich and it was delicious. They had a thick slice of ham with bacon of course that composed the sandwich. The accompanying fry were plenty. I was having a long lunch with a friend, and the staff had no problem allowing us our time. We will be going again!
