Denny's - City of Canandaigua

Julie was a great server! She was pleasant, attentive, responsive, accommodating, customer-oriented, went above beyond, offered friendly conversation, joked appropriately. She gave a great serving suggestion for the Grand Slamwich, which was delicious her way as is. It was difficult to wait until another time to eat the other half! The host, Lyllian, responded promptly when I alerted her to a plumbing situation. She even made sure to get clear on exactly what the problem was so she could describe it accurately to someone else. To top it off, Julie told me today is Lyllian's first day as a host, after her training!! I'm so impressed with both of these women!

The server/greeter was a bit busy, but they seemed to be alone, so I understood that. My order was taken easily, and since it was to-go I sat down and waited for it. And it was done much faster than I expected, which was nice.Parking: The parking should be plentiful, but because of where the Dennys is, getting to it takes a couple if extra turns.

Our server Queens I believe was her name was wonderful. She took a photo for us of the burger bun package do we could make sure it was dairy free. Very patient and her service was quick! The cook the there, we didn't catch his name, was really nice and had no problem taking my tenders back because one was slightly under cooked. Definitely better than Applebee's in every category.Dietary restrictions: We're dairy free and our waiter was willing to check the packages to verify it didn't contain the allergen

My family and I have eaten at Dennys in canandaigua for a long time now and when we went Saturday night it was amazing! The manager/cook David made the best meal I've ever eaten there! I got the country fried steak and eggs and It seriously brought back really good memories of eating with my dad a very long time ago. That food was probably the best country fried steak I may have ever eaten. Our server Darlene was fantastic, she was very attentive and gave great service to my family and I! They were so kind, it was an exceptional experience. The best experience I've had at that Dennys ever, or any Dennys for that matter. With food and service like that, that place will go to new heights! Thank you David and Darlene for such a wonderful experience! We very much appreciate the care you both put into your work! Simply wonderful!Kid-friendliness: The staff there was great with our 4 year old and her high energy!

Please hire more people. Been here three times this year and every time it’s a 45 min wait for food. When you order drinks it 10-15 mins later you get them. The food warmer is full from one side to the other with food but it just sits there.
