Feedback gevenThe woman at the front desk greeted us by saying don't make me do any work. She then put an infant to sleep in the office behind the front desk before she was able to help us. She then checked us into the wrong room type while claiming the single double bed we were put in was a queen. We booked two rooms with two beds each. I went down to explain and ask if there was any way to put us in the correct room type, she said no. We arrived at 330 with 5 cars in the parking lot, so I do not understand how this was possible. She then called up to the room and asked us to leave in 10 minutes or she was going to charge us the full rate as a COVID cleaning fee (I am surprised it takes $120 to disinfect a 140 sq ft hotel room). When we got down to the desk she had a security guard there. As concerned as she apparently is with COVID she was face mask on as a chin strap. The whole experience was embarrassing and unfortunately caused a scene. Reading these other reviews this appears to be a common pattern.
I have paid 3x this price for a less comfortable room; I found staff to be friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent actually. Plenty of parking too. I was a little nervous about booking it due to low price and fact that rooms were still available 8pm night of, but this is what you call a big positive surprise. I did hear one guest say that housekeeping forgot to put sheets on his bed/s but again, and bathroom is small with just a shower and a sink so there 's the reason I can 't give it 5 stars. I expect to be back!
Very impressive and modern lobby and rooms. No elevator (we did get to pick the second floor though) Beds were amazingly comfortable and the sheets were insanely soft!!! Nice to have hardwood floors. Good size refrigerator and microwave! Breakfast had a great variety of selection and was kept well stocked. Awesome location close to Buttonwood and Robert Treman parks. And who can not LOVE Wegmans right next door! Close to many shopping areas. Staff was hard to find at front desk in morning. Definite new consideration for Super 8 chain since Wyndham took over.
Disgusting business practices. Reservation booked for 3 adults. When we arrived we were told there are no accommodations for 3 people in the entire town of Ithaca. 2 members of our party slept on the floor. The room was infested with BEDBUGS. BEDBUGS. DO NOT STAY HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. HORRIBLE FROM START TO FINISH. BEWARE!!!!!!!
The rooms were comfortable and peaceful, providing a nice atmosphere for relaxation. The location is quite convenient, situated right next to a market that offers just about everything you might need. The hotel's breakfast was excellent and more than sufficient for my needs, as I don't typically eat much in the morning. In summary, the breakfast included waffles, two types of bagels, butter, toast with a toaster, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, juice, and water. Plus, you have access to drinks 24/7, which is a fantastic perk. In the mornings, I enjoyed the enchanting sounds of a bird nearby, and I even spotted a rabbit hopping around. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable as well.
