Billy's Kitchen - City of Knox

The dining experience was disgusting and disturbing. Three of the main dishes all had the same flavorless white cream sauce. It seemed like the cook was lazy and possibly unqualified. The staff also seemed unprofessional and uninterested in providing good service. I will not be returning and will be sure to let others know about my disappointing experience. It was a complete waste of my hard-earned money.

We were in billys kitchen several times. our ritual is to visit just cuts and then eat lunch or dinner in Billy’s kitchen. the staff under the old line was always very helpful and polite. but this time the service and attitude towards us was terrible. from some reason they didn't want us to sit in the main restaurant with our 6 yo children. Instead, we were deported from the side near the toilets and in a very cold part of the restaurant. that has never happened. we said that the whole restaurant was fully booked on one side. Please note that we have booked in advance. but while we pay the bill almost an hour later, we noticed that there were still at least eight empty tables. the main area was almost empty. it seems that they are happy to keep these tables for hours instead of a mother and dad with a child in this exclusive opposite. that seemed to be a big story. when I interviewed the person in the cash register why we started to put some very big rude person near the toilets, to our conversation and to argue with me. this person should hang her head in candy and find another job. I'm sure we don't have a way of retrieving. by the way, my pizza was boiled and my tee was cold. we even had to find a spoon that was suitable for our child, as the table service was a scandal. how they can guess, this time no tipp. to say that I am angry with this restaurant would be an understatement. I will call knox centre management and see if they can suggest a child-friendly restaurant. I have tried to contact the owner, but the staff that picks up the phone cannot be disturbed. no wonder the place was empty. but they wait, there are more that even gave us the wrong reception. amazing. too many problems in this restaurant.

There were a variety of options on the menu to accommodate all tastes, and everyone in our group was satisfied with their selections. We dined outside, and the tables were strategically spaced, allowing for easy conversation. The staff was efficient and friendly, although quite busy. Our meals were presented as described on the menu and were delicious. Portions were plentiful but not overwhelming.

The kerl in the writing gave us a story about the booking when it was available in tables. we went away and then went back when a group of 6 appeared without booking and he put them....capitalizing on the Kovid situation where the people just want to be out. not impressed by being lying. they were next to the Groove train... they had an excellent service!

The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with friendly but busy staff. It was challenging to get their attention, but when we did, they were helpful and polite. Ever since the Irish pub closed in Knox, I've been on the lookout for a place that serves pub-style food. The lamb shank at this restaurant is a great substitute, even though it is not a traditional pub setting.
