Bistro at Burvale Hotel - City of Knox

When we arrived, we were surprised how empty the bistro was, only 7 other tables of Diners. What I ordered was told after 5 minutes was not available, so I changed my order to salt and pepper Calamari and shrimp. After waiting for a very simple meal for 30 minutes, I asked why we waited as long as the place was empty. A very rude waitress told me the sports bar was very busy.? A few minutes later, she threw our food on the table and started to go I called her back when my meal was wrong. She said she would check with the person who was my order as if I was wrong, I know what I ordered so, why check? She came back and took away the wrong meal, my right order came out quickly. My husband order lamb cake, which seemed to be a shop bought cake served with over salted potato and soggy chips. Why would 2 such simple meals take 35 minutes to be served on such a quiet night, I would hate to eat there in a busy night. That I would never go there again with the shocking attitude of the waitress and the average food.

Excellent 3-course menu including coffee with a $2 voucher for $20 for seniors. Small to medium meals were on the go, which is ideal to be a senior. Very fast service. Staff put customers first. Meals supplied hot. Very spacious dining area.

Meal time was great and garlic bread sensational! atmosphere was excellent and service very good. In addition, they had a very smart and great idea for some interest in Father's Day. Recommend all!!!

It was very nice of Joe the manager to buy me a Rump Steak for $11,20 from Coles in Vermont South to say what happened to Cheesy Nachos on Monday afternoon.

I went there with James and Marc this afternoon and we both shared the same things. The man was very kind to me because he gave Marc half the same thing to drink and myself half the same thing for free as a once off...only but he said from now if we wanted another drink we would have to pay for it.
