Papaya Pog Pog Restaurant

We parked our car in Springvale and were very hungry for a late lunch. We stumbled upon this Thai restaurant that was somewhat hidden but seemed very authentic. The menu was extensive and the prices were reasonable. The flavors of the dishes were robust and lively. The food was incredibly tasty, and the authentic Thai spices transported me back to Thailand.

Yum!! Will be back!! Authentic Thai. Little hidden gem in Springvale that I always drive past. My friend has been dining at this place for years and we have decided to come here tonight. Reasonable priced. We got a steamed rice, coconut rice, curry prawns, Tom yum seafood for $40.80The lovely couple who owns this place has 5 young kids, wife cooks, husband takes care of the front, their eldest daughter helps waitress in her school uniform. Family orientated restaurant trying to make a living! However if you can't stand kids a bit of noise definitely order take away. Food was great. Highly recommended!

Love this restaurant. My friend recommended this place and its definitely one of the most authentic thai restaurants i've been to. <br/ <br/ Neslted amongst the viet restaurants is papaya pog pog a family owned thai restaurant. The decor is very very basic but the food is fantastic, cheap and hearty.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. The atmosphere was just average, but the Thai and Lao sausages were a standout. We also enjoyed the prawn pad Thai, which had great flavors. And the spring rolls were delicious. It's definitely worth a try.

I've been there several times, the food is so tasty authentic. We usually spend around $70 just for only two of us, it's not because it's expensive but everything is so delicious that we cannot decide so just order them all like there is no tomorrow.
