I eat all over the world without leaving london, and this week I was looking for Israeli eating and landing in restaurant ok technical it is Jewish food and not so much israel, but I thought for this blog this place would be great as it is located on the spatialities of a synagogue. and restaurant is in the michelin guide that it is the most ugly restaurant that I eat for this.
Restaurant 1701 offers an intimate atmosphere, outstanding service, and a great variety of kosher dishes. The menu may be a bit pricey due to the high quality ingredients and adherence to kosher guidelines, but don't let that deter you. The delightful taste of Jewish cuisine and rich heritage will keep you coming back for more at 1701.
Up until recently, my experience with Jewish food was limited to being fed strange soups with balls in a distant location in New Jersey by older relatives, and the occasional bagel. These memories, while meaningful, did not give me a true understanding or appreciation of Jewish cuisine. I heard about the wonders of Jewish food repeatedly, but the language barrier made it difficult for me to decipher the menu. However, I have a spirit that is both adventurous and greedy, and a fear of missing out (which today's youth call FOMO), so when the opportunity arose to dine at the only British fine Jewish restaurant, I seized it.
I dine at restaurants from all around the world without ever leaving London, and this week I decided to search for Israeli cuisine. I ended up at Restaurant 1701, which technically serves Jewish food rather than solely Israeli dishes. However, I felt it would still be a great addition to my blog as it is situated on the premises of a synagogue. Despite being listed in the Michelin Guide, I found it to be the least appealing restaurant I have visited for this blog series.
