After coming from Brick Lane, where the restaurant owners are eager for your business, this place was a stark contrast. I had to wait a long time for someone to take my order after sitting down. It soon became apparent that I was in the way, as they were preparing for a corporate event. After about an hour, I was rudely asked to leave. I explained to the waitress that I was meeting a friend there, but was still forced to go as it was a private function. I went to a bar across the road and after an hour, no one had arrived at C&W. If they only want to cater to private parties and corporate events, they should make this clear. It's a shame, as the location is great and some basic courtesy towards customers shouldn't be too much to ask for.

We sat down at the restaurant but were asked to move because they had a function booked. It would have been better if they had cordoned off the area or used reserved signs. After sitting at our new table for 10 minutes, we were told that this table was also unavailable. It would have been a simple task for staff to inform customers before they sit down that there is a function happening. They should have cordoned it off to avoid any confusion.

I visited this bar whilst enjoying Wimbledon on the big screen in Exchange Square last week. The location is fab and the place has a lot of potentially. We queued up to order a nice chilled Pimms in the hot weather. The lady working behind the counter was not very friendly at all, not apology for the long wait or even a smile to great us. She was rude when we asked to split the payment on two cards and was smacking the card machine around expressing her annoyance. I wouldn't go in there again to buy another drink, its a great location and very easy but I will definitely be using the other bars around the area over this one. It doesn't take much to be polite to your guests to make them feel welcome, I am paying you for the service and drinks which I didn't receive good enough service.

I cannot express how much I adore this restaurant. What makes it truly special is my favorite waitress, Giuseppina, who always takes care of me. She has excellent knowledge of wine and whiskey.
