London City Airport is not equipped to handle such events, leading to overcrowding in the limited space available. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I found a spot to sit and relax after passing through security, as most people crowded into the departure lounge. The only positive aspect was being able to sit down. The coffee was nothing special, not much better than what I can make at home but much pricier. Our meal ended with a lukewarm, soggy cheese croissant at a high cost. In situations like this, passengers have little choice but to pay exorbitant prices for subpar quality. Overall, it was not an experience I would like to repeat, although sitting down was a small consolation.
It is short after safety on the left side (there are some noises, but go deep into the sitting area. the choice of sandwiches is good. the place is quieter and less clogged than the rest of the airport. only the complaining is that the teetassen. are heavy and unpleasant, but let them happen!
For gbp I have a single espresso that tasted incredibly bitter, not like an Italian espresso.
Poor service. Rude employees, more concerned about harder talks to each other than to serve customers. waiting for a breakfast sandwich, asked twice about it was said very rudely, I just had to wait. then waited minutes to get my money. a manager who wouldn't even talk to me or look at me. wait for a breakfast sandwich while waiting for a flight? very unsatisfactory
Quick bite before flight. Grabbed Mac n Cheese which was warmed on site. Although it was in the fridge before it was warmed seemed to be previous lot frozen. Taste was below average.
