You also get a choice of the bun as well. He suggested the sourdough. I cannot remember the name of burger I went for. I also ordered fries with bacon and cheese to go with it. The burger is lean and together with the other lettuce, cheese and bacon, all made a lovely combination. The chips were very crunchy and the cheese and bacon made the experience that much better. Was a very relaxing experience and the waiters were both polite, professional and knowledgeable. No problems coming back to eat here when in John Lewis again. The burger
Visited here for a quick bite to eat before heading home it was lovely. It wasn’t too busy so we were seated fairly quickly. The staff were very friendly accommodating the food was delicious very generous in size. Highly recommended!
Great staff. Milkshakes really good. But burgers are pretty bad. Especially the veggie burger quinoa spread on bread! Come on!
Was in John Lewis during lunch and thought hey I would get me a fancy burger for lunch. The only good thing about the lunch was the staff, they were welcoming and pleasant. A burger that touted their beef and named it holy, I was left largely underwhelmed and chucking my French fries in the bin on the account that they were chewy and tasteless, the burger was over cooked and very greasy, now I am left hungry and feeling queasy.
The food here was incredibly disappointing. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was so saturated in fat that the bread was soggy and falling apart. The pork itself was lacking in any flavour (it didn't appear to have any sauce, aside from oil). My colleague had a similar issue with his burger which had an unwieldy mountain of cream on top that went everywhere and he complained too that it really didn't taste of much at all. This might have been because we had to remove the bacon (which he'd asked not to be served for religious reasons but it came with it anyway). All in all very disappointing.
