Ida - City of London,Westminster

I had not expected much when I found this place, as it is a lonely restaurant in a quiet neighbourhood, although I liked the cozy decoration. I order the menu povero: a glass red wine with a selection of pasta. I have lived in italia for 1.5 years, so I tried a little pasta before, but I must say the spaghetti alla carreteria were absolutely delicious! so good I asked about brot to leave nothing in the plate. the brot was also very good. after that I had the dark chocolate panacotta, which was a good dessert to finish this meal. I recommend this place definitiw.

After I just checked a restaurant where I went as soon as I went into the spaces, I wanted to left, the charming environment that is ida, on the other side, gives them a pretty warm light, it is welcoming, beautifully decorated and enjoyed a homely feeling, it. I was first pulled to ida because many natives had told me that they had eat the intimate setting and the pleasant and relaxed breathing. I had read from the website that the pasta hand rolls daily a rarity in these days. there are no Italian restaurants in my locality of harlesden and the next in notting hill, kensal rise etc are in the regular blackmail and so on their own backs it is a **** scandal (except the exalted Osteria Basilica.) why? the ingredients are to and large not so expensive I still too fathom it. Anyway, four of us have decided to give ida a whirl. the menu is small, always a good sign in my book, rustic and invite the lenticchie, antipasto for two and the raw salat were ordered for starter, followed by the tagliatelle with a pigeon, horny and bark ragu as well as with porcini mushrooms with truffles and the gnocchi in a goat cheese and safransauce on the part of Carnibalaf we tried the food of any other who all part of the food from sharing food and chew the fat less dinge better it is. the dish of raw flower cabbage and brokkoli with granatapfel was a crispy, fresh joy, brought together by a beautiful, cingy, olive oil and orange ceste dressing. the lenses were a massive hit creamy, slowly cooked and with the perfect texture and taste. the antispasti, the usual affair of salami, olive and cheese, (pecorino at this opportunity) was of good quality and it came back with a belty good basket of brot, so often one is presented with a quite lousy selection of clearly not Italian, airy ****. a second basket was ordered very quickly, as all my companions have swallowed it with a fast eagerness. the gnochhi were as light as a spring and the goat cheese sauce were tender and delicious. as well was the boar sauce with this almost fleshy deep that I enjoy so much. the wut of three flesh in the tomato sauce was a total triumph of the aromen and we all thought the quality of the pasta was second. the only disappointment was the house wine. I didn't like it at all. I find it quite empty with a very unpleasant finish. What do you want me to say? this is just my personal taste and when I looked at the wee menu it found quite uninteresting and a little too expensive. this said, with all that still so far superior, most of the surrounding Italian offers at half price (a very reasonable £31 a head,) I know I will rehearse a little ital transported so wonderful to this happy part of west london. te salut.

Absolutely excellent, the restaurant is very prettily decorated and has great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the drinks were delicious and the food was brilliant. On top of all this it's very reasonably priced! The steak was cooked perfectly and was excellent however the pasta was the real highlight, may go for two pasta portions next time!

Lovely quaint relaxed and friendly Italian restaurant. Old school decor. Wife had the Seabass with she loves and I had the swordfish linguine (very good). Nice Tiramisu. Will go back again...book early... difficult to get reservations.

Home style Italian cooking at its best. Menu is consise, focused on quality ingredients and handmade pasta. Cosy family atmosphere.
