Just Mango Tree

Three of us went to this restaurant last week for a curry. We started with the traditional poppadoms, but instead of whole ones, we were served smaller, curved pieces with only two relishes - mint and a not very spicy one. This was disappointing as we were expecting more options. For the main course, I ordered the lamb biryani, but what was served was more like a pie, with the lamb being very dry in the middle and the crust made of rice instead of pastry. I was not impressed. With one small beer, shared poppadums, and the lamb biryani "pie," the bill came to £31 including service charge. I do not plan on returning. Sorry guys.

Worst place. Waiter passed racist commnts,argued owner didnt care. Ill mannered, arrogant, rude and shameless. Treat customers based on skin color. Regrettable experience.

I recently met up with an old friend at this restaurant after reading some positive reviews, and I was not disappointed! The food was excellent, some of the best I've had in a long time. The sides were also well-prepared, although the bhajis were a bit chewy, but that's just a minor flaw. I ordered the Makhani madras hot dish and it was spicy and delicious. The service was good, and even though we were asked to move to accommodate a larger group, I didn't mind as I was offered a beer for the inconvenience. The restaurant had a stylish ambiance and was packed on a regular Thursday evening, indicating its popularity. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when I can.

The staff were very courteous and polite as always. Great service from Maria and Anna. Loved the food and ambiance. This definitely is a family favourite!

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious and high quality. Although we usually take our meals to go, this time we decided to dine in. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed by the attitude of one of the waiters, especially since we had spent a significant amount of money. It's possible that he was just having a bad day, but it would have been nice if he had been a bit more attentive.
