Kaimito - City of London,Westminster

We have twice been to Kaimito and found it to be quite good. We haven't had to wait an unreasonable time for food as the other reviews say, and found the quality to be good, particularly the beef skewers, the teriyaki chicken, and the duck noodles. Honestly, it doesn't have a lot of atmosphere, but we do enjoy the meal here.

The restaurant Kaimito at Edmonton Green appears decent from a distance, but the once trendy and high-quality establishment now shows signs of neglect. Upon entering, the space to the left of the doors is cluttered with unfinished furniture, while the open plan kitchen reveals grimy conditions and lackadaisical kitchen staff. After some confusion, I was finally able to place my order, which included a Tiger beer, deep-fried prawns, and beef noodles. The beer was enjoyable, the prawns were acceptable, but the noodles were disappointing. The overall experience at Kaimito was marked by apathy and disinterest from the staff, reflected in both the food and service. With some improvements and a change in attitude, this restaurant has the potential to be great.

My mother and I visited Kaimito after looking at the menu in the window. She wasn 't really convinced but she gave in and ate there after I expressed interest in one or two dishes; I should have listened to her and eaten elsewhere! The food was okay albeit salty but it arrived quickly (the restaurant was empty so no wonder . My mum however discovered a hard plastic fibre of about three inches in her food. Upon letting the Asian girl know about it (she had dark skin, short ombre hair with big glasses, a nose ring and too much lipstick with white fake nails , she completely denied it coming from the kitchen because it doesn 't look like anything we use (because she would know right? and walked off with our plates. I suppose my mum just planted it in her own food then??? Of course not. Not going back, the chefs obviously cook without caring or pay if attention to what is going into peoples ' food. The staff don 't give a **** either way. No thanks. Don 't go here

If you want the food, you will have to pick it up yourself. The delivery service is awful! We placed an order at 4:53pm and after waiting for 45 minutes, we called to inquire about the delivery (considering we live only 5 minutes away). The lady on the phone said the delivery person was on the way and would arrive soon. We hung up and called again 10-15 minutes later. This time, a different girl said the delivery person had just left and was on his way. After waiting even longer, we called back and were told that there was only one delivery person and the food would be here in less than 30 minutes. This level of service is absolutely unacceptable! It is now 6:08pm and we are still sitting here hungry. Terrible service!

Unacceptable!!! Need more qualified staff!!! The girls have attitude problems have extremely poor service! FOREVER ALWAYS MESSING MY ORDER! The food was salty bland! NEVER ORDERING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't deserve a star rating!!!
