The food quality and portion sizes may not be the best in London for Vietnamese cuisine, but for the price, it is decent. The broth could use more depth, although it still has good flavor. You order at the counter and then your food is brought to your table or available for takeout. The cafe could use some improvement in terms of decor, as it feels a bit mixed with half-empty fridges, a grocery area selling ingredients, and a cafe space.
The food is OK at best (Pho was very oily) the staff terribly offish, our Pho had spilled on the tray while being brought over, no attempt to clean up when we asked for napkins, the waiter gave us 1 when we asked for more, gave another single one... we're talking about cheap napkins that you buy for £1 for a pack of 100! would not return...
This little vietnamese place offers great selection of soups and spring rolls, we had it on a rainy day and it was perfect. Great price and nice friendly service.
Chanced upon this whilst looking for somewhere to eat before the theatre on a busy Soho Saturday evening. We walked in after 6pm and walked out an hour later having had a lovely un-hurried freshly cooked tasty meal. We opted for the sharing platter as a starter and a couple of main dishes to share with a glass of good house wine. Service was friendly and prompt and the cost was amazingly cheap for the quality and the area. A nice bustling informal atmosphere, too.
After spending a long time walking around London looking for somewhere to have lunch, we ended up at NAM. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh, and healthy. The prices were great for a central London location. I don't understand why previous reviews complained about the service - for a casual lunch spot like this, it was fine. The man who took our order was friendly and funny. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again!
