Podium Restaurant Bar

This restaurant offers great value for your afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised. The tea was also amazing. The service was friendly and efficient, but a bit slow at times.

The drink was too sweet for my taste, but the staff were very friendly, so I had a pleasant time there. Usually, we can order a pot of tea, but this restaurant only served tea in individual capsules.

The tea and the food (especially the sandwiches, baked goods, and desserts) were fantastic. Our waiter, who worked exclusively in the afternoon tea section, was attentive and efficient.

This lovely hotel is in a perfect location for quick access to the city. We were disappointed to discover renovation work happening downstairs, as we weren't aware of it when we made our reservations. However, the new suites we were given were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was excellent. The staff created a special atmosphere that made us eager to arrive early for breakfast each day. Serri, Najat, and Raja all seem to genuinely enjoy their work and each has their own unique charm. Raja and Madame Najat could have a comedy act together, as they are both charming and hilarious. Raja is a waiter unlike any we've ever seen before - his conversations with other tables were entertaining, and it was hard not to listen in and even join in at times. We have all agreed that we won't be going back to the Savoy after this experience.

We also had breakfast at this restaurant, and the service was similarly disappointing. The food was confusing - we ordered smoked salmon and poached eggs on toast, but the dish was not what we expected. The poached eggs were very small and served on a tiny circle of toast, which seemed impractical. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not positive.
