Street Kitchen

I am already planning my next visit to Street Kitchen. Whether I need to grab a bite to eat during a night out in Shoreditch or fuel up after my Saturday morning workout (the gym is conveniently close by!), I can't wait to go back.

After taking my first bite, I was hooked. I'm not sure if my hunger affected my judgment, but I believe that was the best burger I've had in London. The meat was cooked perfectly juicy, the toppings were just the right size, and the flavors were impeccably balanced. It was a burger that wasn't overwhelmed by toppings, but the crispy toppings added a special touch. Looking back at the pictures, it was a beautiful burger, and I am definitely impressed.

I am continually amazed by the growth of the street food cart industry in recent years. Street Kitchen was one of the first companies I heard of when I first started exploring soul food. A friend and I always talked about visiting, and I finally had the chance when I had a half day off in the Liverpool Street area. The queues were long, but the kitchen staff worked quickly and efficiently, with the flags representing different destinations constantly fluttering in the background. I opted for the vegetarian options that day and enjoyed soft poached eggs with roasted vegetables. The food was delicious and expertly prepared.

I remember fondly my first experience of Street Kitchen, a good three years ago! I have had their food again, any time I get the opportunity but sadly that's not very frequent as they don't tend to be near where I am for lunch. The first time, in fact, I was off work, having just been for an interview and I decided to treat myself.
