Lovely cosy pub with jolly atmosphere. We popped in for a pint and ended up staying for great pies (fish was extremely tasty) lovely roasted veg and creamy mash. London pride and tribute ales were just the perfect accompaniment. Friendly bar staff offered advice on menu and pie and a pint deal was an unexpected bonus! Fab experience for our London day trip. Just been in this pub this evening. At 10:30 was asked by bar manager to move from bar so he could clean the bar so we did as requested. At 11 exactly we were being harassed to drink up and put our drinks in plastic glasses. Bar service terrible. No idea how to be hospitable and run a pub. Will never go back there.
