Love toad in the hole because it serves traditional old school British food without much ado. it is cheap and transports it to another time. love it.

Pub foods are secret, comfort food is not gourmet, but delicious. it is hard to decide which pub to choose, as there are thousands in london. many seem to be in possession or have the sane costa menu. I guess franchising is living in london. Anyway, it was very good to eat and the experience was great. worth a visit!

I was invited by our team before site to welcome us on the first day for lunch. I was at this place, they are ladies: I enjoyed their company. had a suppe to begin and followed by tripeldeck club sandwich. both taste good, but could have been better. I don't know about that ****. the service was a little slow that I felt and the ambiente is good. overall, good space, but not great! my review to them as follows: ambiente 3/5 eat 3.5/5 service 2.5/5

Location: on the shoe lane, the last is a real city institution, near the infamous punch tavern, the cartoonist and other old school hack pubs. as part of the ball brothers network of bars, this breaks the shape a little with a pumping 'modern' music, a construction kitchen feel completely with striped wooden tables and chairs, mini-copper plastic system in a bucket, and tee lights on the tables. menus are short with some simple, timeless, and a bevy of sharing plakate. The staff provided excellent service, the food was of high quality, and the location is perfect for business dinners.
