Pj's Soul Food - City of Middletown

I had PJs Soul food recently and I had the fried chicken with candied yams and white rice. I also had a taste of their fried fish. My husband had the oxtails with peas and rice with the collard greens. We found their food very delicious and fulfilling. It wasn’t salty and we would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for some down home soul food. Everything was fresh made to order. I had the sweet potato pie for dessert. It was good as well and it was given to me hot.

I could not be happier that I found this place! It smelled so good inside I had the fried fish its cooked to order and my god worth the 4 min wait. I am Super happy I grabbed an order of ribs that I hate to say were as good as my own! And im not sure what this Beautiful woman does to turkey wings but I could eat them till I burst. I give this place a 10 out of 10!

Place was super clean. I ordered oxtail, Mac and cheese and potato salad and it was good had great seasoning.

Very soulful restaurant I've been too since I left very good will recommend it to friends. The owner was great and great company

I ordered the fried fish for the lunch. It was seasoned well. I really enjoyed it. You get 1 side with the lunch, and 2 sides with dinner. The rice and peas, and the potatoe salad was decent. I didn't enjoy their Red Velvet Cake. I may go back to order for dinner one day.
