Cafe Atelier - City of New York

We stay here frequently and always have a wonderful experience. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are cool and completely dark at night (many other hotels are in prewar buildings in NYC and the rooms get hot). The staff, from the warm and efficient reception to the attentive Electric Lemon servers and exceptionally courteous valet/bell staff, always make our stay delightful. Room service also has great healthy, satisfying options and are served in beautiful metal bento boxes.

From the moment I arrived, I was in awe of the attention to detail and the modern yet inviting ambiance. The impeccable service made my stay truly exceptional. The room was a true escape and unlike any other hotel room I 've stayed in. It was spacious, had great views, and was super intuitive with buttons like Dark Quiet Cool that set your room up for ideal sleeping conditions. I think it 's the best I 've slept in a long time. It was hard to resist using everything RoomBar I did have one of the Via Carota Craft Cocktails, which was such a delightful surprise as well as the sleep mask (which I kept and still use nightly). Equinox Hudson Yards was unlike any other hotel gym experience. The group classes were amazing and it was so nice to feel motivated to work out while traveling. The scene was great too, I loved being ingrained in the local community. I couldn 't resist taking advantage of the innovative spa treatments I 've heard about everywhere. I did cryotherapy, the spa wave table, and Icoone and loved them all. The hotel 's central location made getting around the city a breeze, even though I didn 't want to leave the property in the first place. Best hotel in NYC! I am counting down the days until my return!

Equinox Hotel is a true oasis for the busy business traveler and has become the only hotel my colleagues and I will visit while in New York. The entire team, from guest services, to reception, to concierge, to the bell desk is kind and hospitable, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our visits comfortable and first-class. The bath wellness amenities, access to the state-of-the-art gym, and different options for lighting mean that it's possible to return from a business trip feeling better than when we arrived. The views are spectacular too! I would highly recommend a visit to this property.

The Hotel facility was beautiful. And the valets were very helpful during our check-in and stay. The pool was disappointing. They sell “club” memberships to the pool and clearly a lot of them, so don’t be fooled by photos of the peaceful pool on their website. It was more like Hugh Hefners pool at the Playboy Mansion. Overly crowded, bodies on every inch of the cement around the pool and no chairs to be had for all three days of our stay. Additionally, the restaurant , Electric Lemon, is featured on their website but is independent of the hotel and they feel no obligation to accommodate the hotel guests, which was made very clear by the nasty hostess. We purchased drinks and then were never able to get a seat. Every table in the lounge and outdoor patio was marked reserved, you need a reservation even for drinks. We watched this ridiculous parade of girls staging photos for Instagram all being accommodated while those of us paying $1000.00+ a night were out of luck. Also, there was a very extensive mini bar in our room, but it left no refrigerator space for our dessert we brought back from the restaurant for later. No flat sheet on the bed, just a duvet but for us it was too warm.

I had been dying to stay at the hotel and had high expectations but it was beyond all I expected! By far the best hotel in nyc. Spa is amazing , rooms are big and comfortable, great detox treatment . All around great experience. Obviously the gym is espectacular.
