Feedback gevenI had a disappointing experience at this Dunkin'. There was only one person working, and I was waiting to place my order. Although the worker saw me waiting, another customer came in and stood right behind me without any regard for social distancing. I politely asked the worker where the line was, pointing out that I had been there first, but she seemed indifferent and pretended not to understand. Instead, she took the second customer's order. When I reminded her that I was ahead of that customer and expressed my frustration about standing in the wrong spot, she was quite rude. I live just a block away, but I won't be returning to this location. It was the worst experience I've ever had, and I'll be sure to share my story with friends.
I've always been a fan of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Today, I took advantage of their current promotion for Free Donut Wednesday and got a free donut with my drink. Normally, I would choose a Boston Kreme, but this time I decided to try the Bavarian... because why not?
I ordered brew-at-home decaf coffee, but when I went to pick it up, the guy told me they didn't have it available and suggested I come back on Wednesday. When I returned on Wednesday, it still wasn't there. However, the Indian girl who helped me was incredibly helpful; she was honest and let me know that they wouldn't have decaf coffee anytime soon. She offered me a mug, which I happily accepted, and I really appreciated her service and great manners. The guy should have just been upfront with me instead of not being truthful.
During my visits at 3 PM, I've noticed that there are no chairs or tables, which seems to encourage people to linger even when the place is closed half the time. It's summer, and there are no students around, so it's unclear why they're closing during the day. When they finally do open, I ordered a sandwich through the app, but I saw an employee focused on his phone instead of preparing my order. After waiting a while, I asked where my sandwich was, and he casually informed me that they were out of it. Is this a joke? I was clearly waiting for my order, and he didn't say anything until I inquired. This has happened multiple times; once, when I placed an order in-store, he simply picked up a mop instead of helping.
I use the app to place my order almost daily while rushing to catch the train, and this place is incredibly FAST! I can order from two blocks away, and my food is always ready by the time I arrive. I also customize my coffee to make it less sweet, and they get it just right every time. The staff is fantastic, and the woman behind the counter preparing the food is really kind.
