The prices were too high, the food was mediocre, and the service was average. I won't be coming back.
I visited for brunch on Sunday at noon, but unfortunately, they had already run out of chicken and waffles. I started with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which turned out to be a disappointment as it didn’t taste fresh at all, and it was served over ice. I ordered a baguette, which was warm, but the jam had a dark film on it. We were only given two pats of butter to share. Two of us ordered different versions of eggs Benedict, and both of our poached eggs were undercooked, with runny whites. Overall, it was nothing special, and I wouldn’t return. I was left feeling disappointed, especially given the price. The service was acceptable, but nothing to write home about.
Dinner at Little Frog was fine. Some dishes were very good (eg the duck) and others very disappointing (eg the seared Tuna). The tuna was lower quality fish than I expected with a poor tasting crust. We enjoyed our appetizers and thought the service was very good.
Great environment for dinner with friends! Our waiter Juan was so attentive last night and offered great recommendations. We loved the spanish octopus, would recommend to anyone in NYC!
