Overall, the flavors were delightful, and the presentation was impressive. They also play fun 80s music, which adds to the atmosphere! If you're planning to visit during peak hours, it's a good idea to make a reservation, as it can get quite busy.
If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine at fantastic prices and flavors, look no further than Marharlika! This gem is located just outside downtown Manhattan in a lively neighborhood. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, who quickly seated us with no delay. The ambient music featuring classic hip-hop and R&B added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Our drinks and food were outstanding! We felt a nostalgic rush as we indulged in comforting Filipino dishes, along with some creative twists on the traditional favorites.
I absolutely love this place! It was quite crowded when we arrived, but fortunately, we had a reservation, so we were seated right away. The brunch menu is somewhat limited to the typical Filipino breakfast that I grew up with, but I really enjoyed my picadillo bowl; it reminded me of my mom's cooking. I definitely plan to come back for dinner!
This place is a gem! Great and hearty Filipino food with generous portions. I've only had their brunch, but I've heard their dinner service is also great!
Cozy filippino spot in the East village. I went there for brunch and we were all happy with what we ordered. I would definitely recommend the Eggs Imelda (sorry no pics of that as we started eating too quickly)! I'll definitely go back for dinner to try the rest of the menu.
