Mcdonald's - City of New York

This is a unique spot if you're looking for a good burger, but it's also known for its interesting atmosphere. I visited this specific McDonald's and noticed the panhandlers outside. I ended up giving them some change, which seems to be a common practice there. Overall, it's an intriguing place to stop for a bite!

First and foremost, the staff at this restaurant were extremely impatient with customers. My husband and I went there to place an order, and the person at the counter seemed to lose patience with us while we were simply discussing our choices. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to use the self-ordering machine instead. While we were waiting, my husband changed his mind about what he wanted, but the manager—who I assume was a woman—was rude to him while also attending to another customer. It was disappointing to see the lack of respect that the employees showed toward their customers. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but it’s crucial to maintain professionalism. The manager was quite aggressive with our order, and the packaging was messy. If you don’t enjoy your job, perhaps it’s time to consider a change.

The restaurant has improved somewhat, but they still struggle with organization during busy times, despite being located in a high-traffic area. I waited in line for over 10 minutes just to order two cheeseburgers. The manager insisted it was only a one-minute wait, but I could see on his screen that my order had been queued for 640 seconds—and those seconds were counting up in hundredths, not regular minutes. The new cashier is a noticeable improvement compared to the previous employee.

This McDonald's is perfectly fine. Located in Union Square, it features touchscreen kiosks and seating, and ordering through the app works smoothly. The fast food menu consistently delivers the usual items. I don't understand why this location receives so much negativity. Maybe people should adjust their expectations—it's fast food, not fine dining! Some folks seem to enjoy being overly critical. Personally, I sometimes stop by for fries after a run or workout because, yes, that's just the kind of person I am. So go ahead and stay upset; the French fries taste great and aren't as salty as your tears! LOL.

THE IS USUALLY ALWAYS FRESH BECAUSE THIS LOCATION IS ALWAYS PACKED.. .. EVERY TIME I COME IN HERE MY SERVER MCDONALD'S REPRESENTATIVE IS AMAZING.... ATMOSPHERE IS CROWDED LOUD BUT NEVER OBSCENE... BUT CAN BE A LITTLE OVERWHELMING DEPENDING ON YOUR MOOD... THE LOCATION IS GREAT HEART OF UNION SQUARE, NEAR 4,5,6, N,R ,Q, AND W. TRAINS , CLUBS BAR 13, ABOUT 3 MOVIE THEATERS, ABOUT 2 FITNESS GYMS EQUINOX AND PLANET FITNESS,... THE DOWNSTAIRS TO MCDONALD'S IS ALMOST ALWAYS CLOSED BUT I WOULD EAT HERE IF IM IN THE MOOD FOR MC DONALDS
