The Edamame Dumplings in Soup (V) are also really delicious. Service is always quick, and the staff is friendly! The interior has a charming ambiance as well.
I had a great experience trying several dishes, including the Cup O’ Broth (V, GF) and the Boiled Edamame Dumplings (V), along with Scallion Pancakes (V) and Phoenix Buns (VG). The scallion pancakes were quite greasy, which is usually the case, but they were still enjoyable. The Phoenix buns were sweet, fluffy, and slightly sticky. The broth packed a flavorful punch, so I wouldn’t suggest saving it for last! I'm excited to explore more items on the menu. The Boiled Edamame Dumplings (V) were delicious and definitely my favorite!
Wow, I really can't believe how disappointing it was! The Bacon XO Boiled Pork and Shrimp Dumplings were overly greasy and contained chunks of chewy pork fat. The Pork Soup Dumplings were nothing special, and while the portion of Chinese Greens was generous, they were also quite chewy. The texture completely ruined the experience for me.
Not as amazing as I remember this place... Peking Duck buns were on the dry side, vegetarian fried rice was good, Chinese greens were way overgrown, chrysanthemum ice tea too sweet. Best to stick with their dumplings.
Shrimp dumplings were undercooked, shu mai was gummy and gristly. The duck buns were underseasoned and it's wrap super clammy. The veggie fried rice with the added chinese sausage was okay, but I've had better. Such a bummer. We were pumped to get down on some dim sum, but wouldn't order from here again..
