Poke - City of New York

What a lovely place! After doing some shopping, it was wonderful to relax with some delicious food, and I was fortunate to be assisted by Rigo Jenny.

I would like to share my experience at the Herald Square location. If it weren't for Jenny and Mariana, my visit wouldn't have been nearly as enjoyable.

Used to be my go to place for poke for such a long time, but quality of the food decreased over the last year, and prices for higher so it’s definitely not my go to place anymore. If you want a decent poke for lower price with a same size portion, go to place called poke bowl it’s cheaper and tastes better.

I'm writing this review to suggest a simple improvement. My poke bowl, which contained salmon, was incredibly fresh and tasted delicious. However, my only complaint is that the rice lacked flavor. Typically, rice should be seasoned with vinegar, sugar, and salt, but in this case, it missed those balances. That's all!

This chain was my favorite back in San Francisco. They offer a great selection of fresh and crispy toppings. Unlike some other local poke places, they didn't disappoint. I will definitely be ordering from here again soon.
