Pronto Pizza - City of New York

I like dive bars and pizza shops so decided to give this a try. It was later in the evening and the pizza had obviously been sitting for a while. However gave it a try. The overall nothing special. I left unsatisfied and ended up walking around the corner to find another pizza place (Hank’s) which was much better.

The guy working (I think he was the owner) was very nice! Pizza was good! 1 slice is more than enough and was $6-$7

Truly authentic and delicious by the slice NY pizza. A bit pricey but for the area it’s to be expected. I’ll be back!

I'm a native New Yorker born and raised in NYC and eating pizza for six decades.I've been eating pizza at this location since 2007 so I know a good slice when I see and eat one. Ask Zeeko for a Hawaiian you won't be disappointed. I no longer work for the 9/11 Memorial so I don't get to visit Pronto as much as I like but whenever I bring guests to the site we go to Pronto right after and enjoy the best pizza in New York.
