Provence En Boite - City of New York

This restaurant is fantastic! The pastry is delicious, the quiche is light and creamy, and the coffee is strong and flavorful. It's a wonderful, quiet spot for a comforting meal.

I visited recently after France's World Cup victory. The atmosphere was wonderful, but my burger left me feeling disappointed.

I always have an incredible breakfast here. The pastries are incredibly fresh, and the service is consistently excellent. My favorite dish on the menu is definitely the Croque Madame. I recommend going on a lovely day when they open everything up; it's very comfortable and enjoyable.

Great for your soul, not for your diet! Came to this hood to help a friend move but I was an hour early. Went to Bistro Francais to grab a cup of coffee and kill some time. When I walked in I felt like I stepped out of Brooklyn and into Paris (well almost anyway). The owners did a great job decorating and the atmosphere and energy in the restaurant is friendly and inviting and they did not skimp on the decor. I ended up getting the French Toast, a side of bacon and a **** to go along with my coffee! Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. And I mean everything! From the olives on the **** to the berries on the French Toast each bite and sip hit the spot. I'm glad my friends moved close by so I have a reason to come back to this place. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu.

My family and I LOVED this place!!!! So many great memories here. I loved the steak frites and their pastries were great. When I lived in Brooklyn, quite a few birthdays and other special occasions were spent here. 5 stars all the way.
