Rosco's Pizza - City of New York

I had the best pizza in a long time at Rosco's. The atmosphere is great, and Rosco himself seems like a really cool guy. My pizza was ready in no time, and the staff were friendly. I'll definitely be returning soon to try more of their pies!

Nice classic thin crust slices. Ask for well-done crust if you want it nice and crispy, and to avoid their occasional floppy slices.

Adorable place. Freezing cold inside (same as outside). Pizza was great, came out fast, and the staff was very sweet with my little brother who asked for both chocolate milk and ranch dressing (which they don't have). He got a root beer instead and said the pizza was actually pretty good, even without ranch. That's high praise.

The pizza slices here are fantastic, boasting a perfect chewiness to the crust with just the right amount of firmness. It's especially enjoyable during lunch and happy hour, when they offer drink specials and growler fills. Their specialty pizzas are excellent, as are the white pizzas. However, I've noticed some inconsistency during late-night hours on weekends, as some items tend to be overcooked, so it's worth keeping an eye on that. But if you're stopping by after a night out, you might not mind too much.

The pizza here is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's not so expensive that you'd have to go broke. It can get quite crowded at times, leading to slow service, but it's worth the wait. If you're considering delivery, be prepared for it to take a long time; it's usually better to call ahead and pick up your order in about 20-30 minutes. One downside is that the ventilation could be improved. In the colder months, the place can get quite smoky.
