Feedback gevenGreat memories of family dinners. There was a man named Ray cooking. His recipes must be followed to the letter because the last time I was in NY 2018 my meal tasted the same as I remembered. If I should return to Beechhurst, this is where I’m having dinner.
So glad I can visit this restaurant again. COVID regs made it impossible to eat here. The food is as good as it's always been.Food: 5/5
My husband has been a customer since the age of 8, his preferred choice is rays house special , is a battered shrimp in a butter sauce to DIE FOR!, lobster bisque is my choice #1. They are clean, food comes out very fast, the staff is friendly and attentive (when they want to be, guessing we visit too many times already) The place is casual, they also have a bar that can get you anything you can think of. We are HOOKED TO THE RAY 'S SPECIAL shrimp . We usually order those to go too, just to have them next day at home. Yes we are very hooked to them.
As people wrote the food is very good How ever they are some Issues Food Sizes vary from time to time And they run out of food Main dishes waitresses are not always that friendly the old one compared to the younger ones
I know the chef at a personal level . The places food is amazing because of him if they would just let him get the quality ingredients it would make him happy and the Customers happier. Listen to the man he knows.
