Pope Pizza - City of Saratoga Springs

I've ordered from Pope's twice now, each time getting pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The pizza is incredible! The quality remains consistent from one day to the next. With its thin crust and plenty of cheese, it's definitely one of the best pizza places in Saratoga. I will be ordering from Pope's again. Just a heads up, the guy who answers the phone is a bit rude—he tends to give one-word responses and whispers. However, the fantastic quality of the pizza makes it easy for me to overlook his rudeness. The prices are reasonable too; two pizzas and the mozzarella sticks came to just under $45.

No frills, just straightforward, tasty food. The gentleman who served us was very friendly. Please note that they don't accept cash, but there is an ATM on-site.

The pizza is decent but could be great with more cheese and unburned toppings. It definitely has that New York-style appeal, and it's probably better than most of the disappointing pizza options in the area, aside from Venezia and Primavera (both near exit 9), which are excellent. Unfortunately, many other local pizzerias, like Nove in Gansevoort, really struggle with traditional pizza. On top of that, the staff member was unfriendly and seemed disinterested—definitely in need of a vacation. The bathroom also left something to be desired; it was dirty.

Very nice owner, has incredible drawings and paintings by him hanging. Friendly and casual atmosphere.
