When I first tried her Acai Bowl, I knew I found my new place. This is a very health-conscious food with a variety of others than Acai Bowls, but that's what I'm coming. I tried another article on the menu when they were made of bananas for the Acai bowl and it was ok, but I wouldn't get it again, not really my cup of tea. Back to Acai Bowl, I love the granola mix they use, as well as the base Acai/Berry mix. The amount of fruit is always good and I personally like strawberry and bananas on my over all other fruits. The menu has many ways to build your bowl to suit your taste and health preferences. There is not much other to say, but this is my place for Acai bowls and I come here at least once a week. Very recommended!
I enjoy both the food and the smoothies. As a vegetarian, it's nice to go somewhere where I can eat everything off the menu.
This is a nice fancy place, but it 's gluten free and dairy free. Great things can be done in that context but the meals I had were just ok . And most of the coffee beverages you might get here really needs real milk. This is a really nice place, just prepare your expectations.
Came here Thursday 6/20 for lunch. I had originally ordered the market scramble. The market scramble was far too over seasoned, I could barely taste the egg. There was also more spinach than egg. I could not eat more than a few bites. I then asked the cashier if I could get something different, so I ordered an açaí bowl. The cashier made me pay for the açaí bowl. I then received the açaí bowl, which had very little strawberries, peanut butter, or granola. Almost $10 for a bowl that comes with an insufficient amount of toppings. Will not be returning.
This is a beautiful new Liza location in downtown Schenectady, very convenient to Proctor’s Theatre and other local companies. I came for the açaí bowls (the first visited the Liza site in Troy, NY) and think they are absolutely delicious. Although a bit expensive, the quality of the ingredients is top-notch and I love that they do not mix their açaí with sugar (does it a healthy meal option). I brought some friends here for their first açaí bowls and they will definitely come back. In fact, one of them said, “Can I lick the bowl?” The staff is not excessively friendly, but they are good to interact with them. This place could also be a few longer hours, especially if there are shows / samples / etc. over at Proctor’s. But now this is a good start for this business and helps to revitalize downtown Schenectady.
