It is a good sign for us when a restaurant has occupied every table. That was here at 1:00 on a Sunday. Here. But we could wait for less than 2 minutes. It wasn't disappointed. When it was Buenos Aires, we went for Lomo or Beef Tenderloin with potatoes, mushrooms and hearts of the artichoke. Really good. But the people at the next table had a seafood paella that looked even better, so we decided to come back to try the Mariscos that the waiter recommended. You have an English menu! The ambience is great, and I close a picture of the interior and the friendly, very busy guys in the open kitchen, who have a 25 second break to smile for the camera... Everyone in place (customers, this is) seemed to be over 60! Maybe because it was a bit expensive for the kids. Price for a very big lunch for two of their best things (no wine) was Pesos 1500, or about U$A 20, not bad with the Blue Dollar at the unofficial exchange rate. We definitely come back here. If you are looking for a quiet, mutated, traditional ambience, this place fits the bill. You go to Spain yesterday, with mature locals enjoy a family meal. The menu is extensive, specialized in Spanish dishes, with a good selection of fine Argentine wines. We were disappointed by the service: the waiter rushed through the duck (a plate of cold cuts) because the main dish was already finished. We'll eat a hot dinner. My court was literally presented: simply thrown into the plate and thrown on the sides. The asparagus was much over cooked, but the chicken hoprem was delicious. The dish of my husband was a lukewarm floating chaos, the pineapple in a sauce with cold round roasted potatoes, but the chicken surpassed, though was delicious. The Spanish omelet of our son compensated for the 2 chicken dishes. It came warm, abundant size and tasty. The waiter wasn't colder and didn't even bother to say good evening. He probably prefers his regular guests. We skipped Dessert. We had dinner there on Thursday night. It was filled with local regular, but it was steamed and easy to talk to each other at the table. For the price we paid, there are better places. We won't return here.
I suppose there is something for everyone in this restaurant: pasta, chicken, meat, seafood and a modest wine list. Portions are good, women can share. Good recipes, homemade style.
Excelent beef: our First metal at this BsAs visit we were so happy. The wine was also very good. Just what we were looking for.
