Upon approaching the restaurant, you may question if you are in the right location. It is hidden on a residential street but definitely worth finding. Despite our limited Spanish knowledge, we were able to communicate effectively as the waitress had a good understanding of English. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was of good quality. The croquettes were particularly delicious. The pizza crust was very thin, so despite its appearance, it was not overly filling. We were pleasantly surprised to find ice cream on the menu, a rare treat in Havana in 2022. The ambiance of the restaurant was cool and relaxed, with smooth background music and LED lights for decoration. They do not accept credit cards but will take various currencies. Overall, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Great atmosphere around Betty Boop character, fast friendly service and large food portions that were extremely tasty, definitely a must see while in Havana.
This is the best family-owned restaurant in Cuba. The service and the food were excellent. I highly recommend trying the “Ropa Vieja.” The correct address is 5thA and 60, Playa, Havana City.
Good treatment, excellent attention and a very cozy place.
