I asked for the special lunch menu and after a few minutes she returned with a 27 Euro special menu. We stood our ground and refused to give in to this attempt to get us to spend more than we wanted, and eventually she brought the 17E menu. The food itself was actually quite good especially starters(I had stuffed pepper and my wife had aubergine timbale) but we were a bit miffed at this point. We later observed another couple being made to wait around 20 minutes for their bill after asking for it at least twice, so when I asked for our bill and it had not arrived after over 5 minutes, I just left the correct amount of cash on the table with no tip, indicated to the waiter that we were going, and we left.
I stopped here with my wife for an impromptu lunch during festival of St Joan (very busy). The restaurant is dockside with a large alfresco seating area (with umbrellas for shade) serving a great selection of Spanish inspired seafood dishes with a number of vegetarian and meat options too. The staff were all very cheery and quite skilful in tableside food preparation too. We opted for 4 starters (between 2) as we couldn't decide from their extensive menu and like to try different things. The fits was delish starter portions were filling (leaving us with no room for desert). €25 a head (with a drink each), by far the best meal we've had in Menorca this week!
Ate here because of the location harbour front and pretty. Starter was good, but paella very salty and disappointing. 'Homemade ' tiramisu was frozen in the middle and tasted anything but homemade. Shame.
