Best CoOOKING CLASS WE "VE EVER TAKEN!! Instead of the tour to Rome from our cruise ship in late October, we decided to explore Civitiveccia (the port). What a happy choice! You picked up from the WEBSITE. He's "S TOTAL RELIABLE. Federico, who speaks well English, is the owner/cook of Aqua, a local restaurant in the city, with excellent food, and where many city dwellers as well as tourists eat lunch and dinner. He teaches how to make a lunch the 'Italian' way, with many tips to taste the dishes of scratches really authentic. With his guide, All class participants receive, prepare and season every dish (also children). My wife 'a large Italian cook, and she was mesmerized by what we have experienced. We have made Gnocchi Bologenese, Saltimbucca a la Romana, Eggplant Parmesan and Tiramisu. My wife said the Tiramisu they usually don't like, and the Gnocchi, were the best to far they've ever eaten! After that we all eat the lunch we prepared, along with wine and/or beer or water Federico provided. By the way, even tho it outside the season and the class was small, he spent a lot of time with us in the class. He also took us off at the Cruise Port Terminal and drove us back when lunch was ready. The best!
We booked the course in advance because we stopped on a cruise in Civitavecchia. Federico made the course just before Christmas especially for us in his restaurant, although we were only 2 guys! So there were only three of us, but we still have the full cooking course! He even showed us some of the port and the city on the way and explained everything that it could not have been better! We can recommend his food and especially the cooking course without exception! We felt very comfortable with him the restaurant is really well decorated and very clean! The food was a dream we will visit you again, Federico! Thanks for everything and greetings from Germany!
We had an amazing time cooking and enjoy our creations with ,Federico! He's the best. Such a fun class. Authentic Italian with all fresh ingredients. Very recommended!
Great class! Our Italian cooking class with chef Frederico was amazing! He picked us up from our hotel, which made it easy. From the first moment on he greeted my twin sister and I as friends and taught us very useful and easy to understand hands on cooking skills to wonderful dishes in a flawless clean kitchen in his restaurant we started with Tiramisu, then zucchini parmesan, step by step to a fabulous Bolognese sauce and handmade Gnocchi and finished the meal with calfsal salt. After class we actually ate all the food we prepare. It was so good that we went to lunch the next day! We took big notes and plan to make this meal for my husband and family as soon as we return home. Overall, it was a great Italian cooking school experience that we recommend you not miss! Chef Frederico is a master chef with great skills!!
