It is when in the steaming dough that the crown over the door, a hint on the foremost name of bakery, makes much sense.
Yo! Here's gold! Have eaten some Lebanese food and found this place a few minutes from home. Just amazing!
Al Amir bakery has some delicious flatbreads! We love their cheese and Za'atar and the Za'atar plain. They're both so good and fill. They are best eaten piping hot. You can reheat, but not so good. Staff are friendly and try their best to get you in and out.
Al-Amir Bakery is a bakery in Claremont for Lebanese Mediterranean bread. Flat bread is a popular Levantin food consisting of dough with blows such as thyme, cheese or ground meat. Similar to a pizza it can be cut or folded, and it can be served either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We went to this bakery on September 13, 2019. The ambience of the bakery was calm and quiet. We ordered ZAATAR (Dried Thyme, Sumac, Sesame Seeds, Olive Vegetable Oil) and SOJOUK (Ground beef, Special Spices, Crushed Pepper). The price of food was really cheap. We waited for our food for 15 minutes. ZAATAR was average, but SOJOUK was so good!!! The overall service was also good. Hopefully we'll come back here.
Damned be those who slander the holy prince of bread. Service and food is impeccable. God is blessed and so is Al Amir’s. Zaatar with cheese, Sujook, Lahm Ba Jeen. Take these put them in your mouth and eat them simultaneously. A portal to another dimension will open in your taste buds and you will freed from your earthly suffering. Saba the lion bakes the bread to perfection and Wasim has the smile of an immortal youth from paradise all praise be to god. No complaints
