Applebee's Grill - Clarendon County

Went here tonight at 10pm it’s 11/19/22. We came in no one a knowledge us a lady was sweeping and saw us still didn’t say anything so we’re waiting a Caucasian couple comes in and she comes to them and tell them it’s a wait and apologize and she see us right there she didn’t even look at us speak or anything.. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! They are RACISTS!!

My wife and I just had date night dinner at the Lexington Applebee's. We haven't been here in a few years due to several meals of so so service and food. Tonight was a reminder of the original Applebee's experience. Katherine provided awesome service as we enjoyed our Chicken Wonton Tacos and “Fancy Like” Bourbon Street Steak. We decided to go there yesterday (11/11/2022) for dinner, because one of us was a Veteran. This Applebees restaurant was honoring the Veterans, with a free entree meal from a special selection. I love this place. It has meaning beyond food to me. I deeply appreciate how every year for Veteran's Day they feed us for free. When I moved back to Lexington in 2013 I started getting my brother and father together every Veteran's Day to have lunch together. Living/working in different parts of town made this a convenient location to meet. We've had so many great times. I always appreciate the care and thankfulness. Went to have a nice dinner and it was quite disappointing. Staff seemed to be more interested in talking and laughing or chatting on the cell phone. Took 30 minutes to get our order. My steak was tough and dry, fries were cold and server never even came to ask if everything was okay with our orders.then we had to wait to get our check. Then we waited again to get her to bring our card back.. unbelievable..not sure we'll go back to Applebee's.. Do not recommend
