Malika Pakistani Chai Canteen

This place is lights out good!! This is my first restaurant review in years. That's how good this is. It's all good!

Food was outstanding…service outstanding…atmosphere fun and quirky....the only reason why I cannot give this place 5 stars is because when I went to pay for my bill and opened my wallet to present cash, I was told this was a “credit only” establishment. Well. This is AMERICA....we print, earn, buy, and sell all in cash. Now, my cash gratuity was accepted, just not cash for my bill…go figure that one out. Too bad, the food was great but I will not return.

Amazing and refreshing touch on South Asian dining! The food was so flavorful and… Get this, the dishes were prepared by white folks and still better than most Indian restaurants I’ve been too. The only minor issue was that I wish they had actual tandoor naan. The naan here seemed to be either readymade or pita bread honestly. A tad bit on the pricier side, but I’m definitely returning when I’m in town!

This has quickly become our go to spot for Pakistani/Indian food…or desi khana as we'd say back home. Maryam Raheel run a stellar joint with amazing authentic homemade style desi khana with their signature warmth and hospitality. If you haven't tried, go get the chapli kabab, papdi chaat, kathi roll of your choice of filling ASAP

Amazing food. To be very honest I was not expecting that great desi food out of New York. Everything was over and above the expectations. The services were a marvelous addition on top of the taste. I’ll say 10/10.
