Mei Mei House Chinese

I have been going to Mei Mei house for years. This place is a friendly, clean and tasty food place.

I always went here because I thought is was by far the best in the area. Last couple of times i went it was horrible. General chicken had an after taste felt real chewey. Chicken fried rice was a mound of yellow rice with a couple pieces of chicken strips. No other vegis like before. Chicken lo mein was about same, no taste a couple chicken strips. Now where do I go????

The egg drop soup with fried wontons is just the ticket when you're not feeling up to snuff. I also like the shrimp fried rice and the crab Rangoon with sweet n sour sauce. Their tea is mild and always good too.

Best Asian food I’ve had in a while. The portions are HUGE.

General chicken was good. The tasty sauce is clearly made fresh and has some good spice to it, as it should. It had the obligatory 3 sprigs of broccoli. The fried rice is ABYSMAL. I haven't had REAL fried rice anywhere in the West or South since leaving New England 10 years ago. Nothing here but tasteless, mushy, brownish (soy sauce) rice. Yuk. I never eat it.
